What is TDS?

Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) are the total amount of mobile charged ions, including minerals, salts or metals dissolved in a given volume of water.  TDS which is based on conductivity, is expressed in parts per million (ppm).  TDS includes any conductive inorganic elements present other than the pure water molecules (H20) and suspended solids.

TDS affects everything that consumes, lives in or uses water, from fish and plants to plumbing and laboratories. Water with a high TDS is known as hard water. Acid rain created hard water.

Hard acidic water then is your greatest enemy. It will destroy every fond hope you have by striking you down when you should be enjoying the fruits of your labors. Crippled joints, repeated surgeries, enlarged hearts, hardened arteries, gall stones, kidney stones, hearing problems, forgetful minds, all draw your activities from the great out-of-doors into creaking rocking chairs, and finally into bed-ridden old folks homes.

The average person drinks about a gallon of water per day. Adding up the cups of coffee, tea, soft drinks, food, and water, this gallon isn’t too much. At a gallon a day, the average person drinks up to 450, 12 ounce glasses of solids during their life. Think of it… 450 glasses of mineral solids in your system during a lifetime.

For people, appropriate minerals (TDS level) in the water you drink, the more efficiently your body’s cells are hydrated. The higher the TDS level in water, the greater the probability of harmful contaminants that can pose health risks and/or hinder the absorption of water in the body.

Understand Why PristineHydro® Electrolyte Balance® Was Created

Magnesium & Calcium Bicarbonate are complex hydrated electrolyte salts that exist only in water under specific conditions. Powders and tablets are not in bicarbonate form, thus not bio-available.

Silicic Acid is the fully hydrated and oxygenated tetrahedron form of Silica that occurs naturally in water.

Silicic Acid is a dietary requirement for all mammals that drink fresh water. It also weighs in as the third most abundant mineral in the human body, making up 1 gram. Silicic Acid promotes collagen production, improves joints, bone, hair, and nails, protects skin from the adverse effects of aging, preserves dental health, and stimulates digestion.

Studies have shown regular consumption of water containing Silicic Acid can reduce aluminum uptake from the digestive tract, slowing the accumulation of this harmful metal in brain tissue.

According to Mt. Sinai, 90% of Americans have a Magnesium deficiency. Being Magnesium deficient is synonymous with diabetes and many cardiovascular problems. Magnesium Bicarbonate is known to reduce insomnia, headaches, and inflammation. It also aids with memory, focus, and relaxation.

The body does not store excess Magnesium Bicarbonate, and thus, must be replenished daily. Electrolyte Balance® effectively replenishes Magnesium reserves while delivering the added benefits of Silicic Acid.

How to Integrate Electrolyte Balance® into Your Daily Routine

How does Electrolyte Balance® Gold compare to the Electrolyte Balance® Liquid?

In comparison to EB liquid, the key difference is the total concentration of magnesium bicarbonate present in the final product.  Both deliver the maximum recommended levels of magnesium, however the taste of EB Gold may be stronger as the bicarbonate is made fresh by you when mixing.

How does Electrolyte Balance® Gold compare to the Electrolyte Balance® Powder?

What type of liner is used in the aluminum cans and are they safe?

arrow-icon

Epoxy liners are a type of liner used in aluminum cans to protect beverages (including carbonated), from coming into direct contact with the metal. A thin layer of food-grade non-toxic epoxy resin is applied, lining the interior surface of the can, creating a non-leaching barrier between the contents and the aluminum.  These epoxy liners do not contain BPAs and have been used for many years in the beverage packaging industry due to their excellent product protection, durability, and resistance to corrosion and these cans are curbside recyclable.

Note: Aluminum cans unlike ours, with BPA-containing liners, require a health warning under Proposition 65
