Acid Rain & Water Pollution: The Cycle, Consequences, and the Only Viable Solution

These acids exist as free ions or small uncharged molecules, allowing them to pass through the pores of most filtration membranes—including microfiltration, ultrafiltration, and even reverse osmosis.
Conventional filtration systems are designed to remove particulates, organic compounds, and dissolved solids, but not ionic acids.
